A typical re-roof needs stable access to eaves and working areas, safe handling of materials and a controlled route for removed coverings. The scaffold design is determined by a competent provider for the actual property.
Conservatories, porches, extensions, narrow passages, sloping ground, overhead cables and neighbouring land can all change the arrangement. Public pavements or highways may introduce separate permissions or protection requirements.
The quotation should explain whether scaffolding is included and identify any known access assumptions.
