Everyday activities create water vapour inside a home. If moisture reaches a cold roof space and cannot disperse, condensation may form on membranes, timbers or fixings.
Ventilation, insulation continuity, air leakage and the chosen membrane all interact. Simply adding one vent or more insulation without considering the whole arrangement can move the problem rather than solve it.
